Easy to Assemble Tension Fabric Displays
Setting up your custom tension fabric display is a simple and quick process. Assembly can be done with one person, but having two will speed up the assembly time.
- Connect the poles. The internal bungee cord and snap-click poles makes for easy connecting.
- Pull the pillowcase graphic over the frame from top to bottom, or left to right. Close the zipper on the bottom of the display.
- Your tension fabric display is ready!

1. What are tension fabric displays typically used for?
There is almost an unlimited amount of uses for fabric tension displays. The large display areas and portable designs are great for permanent fixtures in your business space as they also travel well for traveling shows. They make excellent backdrops for photographs or videos at trade shows and expos, weddings, and corporate events.
2. What is the thickness of your tension fabric displays?
Our tension fabric tradeshow displays are 9oz, which doesn't compromise the quality and durability while still offering maximum stretchability. Our years in business have taught us that more thickness is the best and most affordable option.
3. Are the display frame sizes adjustable?
No, all of our tension fabric displays are built for certain size fabric displays and are not adjustable.
4. Is there a double-sided option for tension displays?
Yes! We do offer double sided options. Make sure you select the option for double sided when ordering and be sure to include both sides of your design. Reach out to us today if you have specific design questions so we make sure that every material you order is perfect.
5. Are your fabric displays transparent? Does light pass through the fabric?
Our stretchable fabric materials are not transparent. If your design is very light or if there are a lot of bright lights behind the display, you might be able to see some light pass through. However, our 9 oz tension fabric is fairly thick and therefore doesn't have a lot of shining through it.
6. How do I attach the display to the frame? Can I do it myself?
You should be able to easily attach your custom fabric display to the frame by pulling it snugly over the top. It should be snug and secure as there is a zipper at the bottom to ensure that your fabric doesn't slide off the frame. Commonly called a pillow case display. Although one person can do the installation, we do recommend two persons for a quicker installation.
7. What is the frame made out of?
The poles are made from a lightweight aluminum that makes for easy transport and setup without compromising the sturdiness of the frame.
8. Can I still use my fabric display if the zipper breaks?
The zipper is not essential for the fabric display to attach to the frame, though we do recommend it to make sure that the display remains smooth and tight and in the right place. We recommend replacing the display eventually, but the frame should get the job done if something should happen to the zipper.
9. Are there visible seams on the display?
Nope! There are no visible seams on your tension display. There will be stitching down the side that you can hardly see and will not change the overall aesthetic of your display.
10. What is the printing process for fabric tension displays?
Lush Banners uses a dye sublimation process that prints your design directly onto the tension fabric. It is the best way to do it to adhere the ink to the fabric material so that your designs stay vibrant for a long period of time.
11. Are typical tension fabrics matte or gloss finish?
When you order display graphics from Lush Banners, you get a matte finish that stays vibrant and clear when stretched across the frame.
12. Do fabric displays rip or tear easily?
No, our tension displays do not rip or tear easily. As long as you are using it properly, and transporting and storing it carefully, you should have no worry about damage. Though there is always a chance that sharp objects can tear it, our materials are high quality and durable.
13. Will my tension fabric trade show displays hold up outside? Are they weather resistant?
Though all of our promotional products are durable and high quality, we recommend leaving your custom tension fabric display indoors. Our frames are made from durable aluminium, they are not weighted or anchored down to the ground, so strong windy weather might blow them away. Under the right conditions, your backdrop display can be used outdoors, but we recommend you use caution.
14. Is my design able to be scratched off or will it fade over time?
We use a dye sublimation process which means the ink goes into the fabric and should make fading and scratching less likely. If you properly care for and store your design, it will last for years and be bright and vibrant for all of your events!
15. What is the difference between the Premium and Standard Tension Fabric Display?
The main differences between the Premium and Standard are that the premium has a heavier frame and feet and the carrying case has wheels. The premium also has a more in-depth warranty.
16. How much do Tension Fabric Displays Cost?

17. What are tension fabric trade show displays made of?
Generally, Tension fabric displays are made using aluminum tubing hardware that fits seamlessly together, while the fabric graphics are printed on premium polyester fabric, and are easy to set up.
